They have squeezed the city; and they want to share it with us.

Preparatory visit in Ljubljana

  Taking advantage of the first week of November, and with a view to the organisation of mobilities of students of basic and intermediate level, a Job Shadowing mobility has been carried out in Ljubljana (Slovenia). Two teachers have visited this country, of which we knew very little. With this mobility, we have learned a lot about their cultural concerns, their customs; and most importantly, how to live in a city as sustainable and as green as Ljubljana; named European Green Capital in 2016. A very enriching visit in which we have studied how students live, the relationship that the city has with the Erasmus+ programme; and we have carried out a study of the labour market related to the professional families of our training cycles. In order to establish contact with companies, we held a meeting with ICEX. Preparatory visit in Zagreb

At the beginning of November, two teachers from our school went on a job shadowing mobility to Zagreb (Croatia). They had several meetings where they got a lot of relevant information to send our students there for their work placements. They had meetings with the Director and Marketing Manager of the Spanish Foreign Trade Office (ICEX) where they were given details of the 'ICEX Vivex' programme for students. From there, contacts were made with companies that require the job profiles that our students have. In addition, the person in charge of the Cervantes Classroom explained how the education system is distributed in Zagreb and was interested in the profiles of our students in order to carry out their placements in the Cervantes Classroom itself, in Zagreb.
